Design & Publication

Your web site will be structured and coded to be search engine friendly. Many of my clients benefit from "organic" or "natural" visibility in search engine result pages (SERPS). Your site will be personally submitted to the top search engines and directories. Natural visibility within the first few pages can never be guaranteed by any designer because search engine criteria (algorithm programs) for placement changes too frequently. Therefore, work with a designer who has a successful track record. Many of my clients will tell you that they've been pleased with their visibility in search results, as well as with my customer service and integrity.

Most web site projects will be quoted at a flat rate. Small business web sites with 2-5 pages are typically invoiced between 10 and 15 hours. Projects are often completed within 2 weeks. Visibility/indexing within search engines is usually observed within 6-9 weeks (sometimes much sooner, as some of my clients would tell you).

Service & Maintenance

This service is for a task not originally included with your new web project or for any  updates or modifications which don't qualify for the "free" service offered to my hosted clients.

Search Optimization (For a Search-Friendly Site)

This service is for you if you already have a web site but want to enhance your visibility in search engine result pages (SERPS). This service does not guarantee an organic and favorable position within SERPS. However, since 2001, I've earned a reputation for having positioned many of my clients' sites within the top 3 pages of SERPS. A quotation will be furnished after a brief discussion of your needs and my review of your current web site. I will actually decline your project unless I feel I can make a positive change for your web site. I will not waste your time or mine.

Hosting and Free* Updating/Maintenance Service

The service making your pages available to the world. I don't require term service contracts. If you want to go elsewhere, you won't be held hostage. You will receive a prorated refund of any unused monthly premiums that you've prepaid.

 

Storage: Up to 20MB. Add $5 for additional 10MB.

Includes 5 "alias" email addresses to forward to your own ISP email account address.

Need a Logo or Graphics Artwork to Brand Your Identity?

I'll provide 1 or 2 logos to choose from that can be included for free with your web site service. For a logo only, call me for a graphic design quote. Consider if this design will need to be embroidered for apparel, or enlarged for vehicle signage, and other applications. 1 color is less costly than 2, and so on.

 

If you need additional graphic artwork, this must be custom quoted.

TIP: When selecting a name for your web site, use a search friendly key word or phrase within it. Always select the .com extension if available. Purchasing other variations (.net, .org, .biz, etc) is not necessary, however, some people choose to purchase these registrations in order to prevent competitors from using those domain names to direct traffic to their own sites. At less than $10 each, you might as well grab them, too.

Example: johnsmith.com tells the search engines (and us) absolutely nothing about the web site, its content, or services. However, www.johnsmithpaving.com tells us and the search engines a bit more as the VERY relevant term, "paving" is included in the domain name.
